Description

This tour takes you on a daily tour of Martin's (Duke of Lorraine) 16th-century forest of Saint-Pierremont. The forest is rich in silver deposits.
To accompany you, you can buy the booklet written in old French "Le bois de Saint-Pierremont" for €1.60 at the Tourist Office.
The tour starts from Place de Gaulle in Ste-Croix-aux-Mines, following the RD 459 westwards, then turning right just before the Ste-Marie-aux-Mines town sign.
Approximate time: 2 hours 30 - 3.8 km.
